Archive Restore Translators

Once Data Archiver has been run, all archived data can be restored to the original Database (or imported to a new Database) using any of the eight DataSmith Translator (*.4DataSmith) files provided with your installation of CM4D.

The following translators can be found in the ATS CM4D installation folder: CM4D/Support Files/Archive Restore Translators

·        DataArchiver HVD Restore: Restores archived samples that were designated as being High Volume Data.

·        DataArchiver Nominal Restore - 1 Common.4jr: Restores "common" nominal information, such as basic surface points (e.g. X, Y, Z, Position, etc), of archived Routines (i.e. nominal data) to the Database.

·        DataArchiver Nominal Restore - 2 Semi-Common.4jr: Restores "semi-common" nominal information (Diameter, Radius, Gap, Flush, etc.) of archived Routines (i.e. nominal data) to the Database.

·        DataArchiver Nominal Restore - 3 Uncommon.4jr: Restores "uncommon" nominal information (Polar, Azimuth, and Horizon), of archived Routines (i.e. nominal data) to the Database.

·        DataArchiver Sample Restore: Restores archived samples to the Database.

·        DataArchiver Subroutine Restore - 1 Common.4jr: Restores "common" subroutine information from the parent Routine, such as the basic surface points (e.g. X, Y, Z, Position, etc.) to the Database.

·        DataArchiver Subroutine Restore - 2 Semi-Common.4jr: Restores "semi-common" subroutine information, subroutine information from the parent Routine (Diameter, Radius, Gap, Flush, etc.) to the Database.

·        DataArchiver Subroutine Restore - 3 Uncommon.4jr: Restores "uncommon" subroutine information, subroutine information from the parent Routine (Polar, Azimuth, and Horizon) to the Database.

All translators provided may be customized according to a users individual needs. For instance, you may want to remove any associations which you know you will never use in order to restore data more quickly to the database.
