One important thing to remember when using UNC paths to connect to network Inboxes, Outboxes, or Errorboxes, is that Windows Services uses the System Account by default. To access a network path, you must log into Windows Services with the User Account (as used to run Batch). Without this setup, Services will not be able to access UNC paths and you will receive error messages in your *.log file because Batch will not know where to put your data.
