CM4D.ini - [DeviationType]

The Deviation Type section of the Cm4d.ini file allows you to customize the default Deviation Type settings.

Notes

AllowTypeSet__Chr__=

0

The AllowTypeSet parameters control whether a user is given access permissions to modify the deviation types. Locked values appear in parenthesis: (vec)

AllowDevTypeVector=

1

0

The AllowDevType parameters allow you to define which Deviation Types will be available in the Query level Deviation Types dialog for selection.

Any combination of Deviation Types may be used, but at least one of the AllowDevTypes must be set to 1, or AllowDevTypeVec and AllowDevTypeCar will be automatically enabled (set to 1) for the current session of CM4D.

The AllowDevType settings will override the default type set in the Type parameters.

  • if AllowDevTypeVec=1, AllowDevTypeCar=0, and AllowDevTypeOff=0, the Deviation Type dialog will only show "vec" as a menu option, even though "car" was set as the default type in the Type section

AllowDevTypeCar=

AllowDevTypeOffset=

SetDevTypeFromDefaultSift=

1

This setting is used ONLY for migration of any documents created prior v10.910 to be accessed with v10.920 or later.

#Default Settings if SetDevTypeFromDefaultSift=0

Type__Chr__=

"vec"

"car"

"off"

The Type parameters determine the default deviation type.

When the AllowTypeSet is disabled (i.e. set to 0), or locked, this value will determine what the locked deviation type will be.
