View Lighting

Lighting may be customized for CM4D Views. Lighting options can be found in the View Properties dialog, by right-clicking on a view and selecting Properties… from the menu.

On the first tab of the View Properties dialog, labeled “View”, click Lighting to access the View Lighting dialog.

Ambient Light

Ambient Light is the light surrounding an image in the view, so regardless of how the image is rotated within the view, the lighting remains constant.

·        Slider increments from OFF to ON, with varying intensity

·        Ambient Light may be used with any combination of Headlights and Stage Lights, or independently.

Below are a few examples of what some of the Ambient light settings might look like:

Head Lights

The position of the head lights remain static, regardless of how the part is rotated within the view.

There are four available head lights to choose from, all of which use slider increments for varying intensity:

The stage lights remain with the part, regardless of how the part is rotated within the view.
