The Paths tab allows you to set your folder options for Workcell. Each folder path must correspond to a folder within the Workcell home folder. You can use the default folder names or they can be user defined, but you need to create these folders manually in the Workcell home folder.
All Workcell folders must exist, be writable by the user, and be local to the Workcell computer (or referenced by a UNC path). Mapped drives are not supported as valid Workcell folder paths.
The Inbox folder should be populated with the data from the measurement device. Workcell will automatically retrieve the sample files from this folder.
The Temp folder will be used during the processing of sample files. Workcell will automatically create the Available and Loaded folders within this folder if they do not already exist.
The Outbox folder will be used to hold sample files of samples that have been committed to the database.
The Errorbox folder will only be used in Auto Mode for sample files retrieved from the Inbox that cannot be processed or loaded successfully.
The Rejected folder will be available for the users to hold files that they do not want to load or commit.
Two of the three Forward folders are optional, but at least one Forward folder must be set up. These folders will be available to receive files that you do not want to load or commit. Potentially, a Forward folder could be an Inbox for another DataSmith batch processor.
The Nominal folder is optional and only needs to exist if you will be using nominal files in Workcell.
