The mouse controls for the View are dependent on the View being in Edit Mode and which cursor is active.

Edit Mode Controls

View Cursor

Description

Left Mouse Button click+hold+Move

Rotate the model in 3D

Right Mouse Button click+hold+Move

Translate/Pan the model; move without rotation

Mouse Wheel Scroll

Zoom model in or out; zoom area is centered on cursor placement

 

Scroll Forward

Zoom in on the model

Scroll Back

Zoom out on the model

Description

Left Mouse click on Feature Marker

Clear 'Selected Features' list and select the individual Feature.

To deselect a Feature, click on a selected marker or click an area without a marker.

Left Mouse Ctrl+click

Add the Feature to 'Selected Features' list.

To deselect a Feature, keep holding Ctrl and click on a selected marker.

Description

Left Mouse click+Move

Clear 'Selected Features' list and select the Feature(s) within the bounding box.

To deselect a Feature, drag the area around the selected marker(s) or on an area without markers.

Left Mouse Ctrl+click+Move

Add the Feature(s) within the bounding box to 'Selected Features' list.

To deselect Features, keep holding Ctrl and drag the area around the selected marker(s).
