A Title Block is a header section that can be created on the Title Sheet of your SheetSet that will appear on all of the Sheets in the SheetSet. The Title Block is typically used to display information about the data that is being viewed in the report, but it could be as simple as a logo and report name. Any variables used in the title block will be resolved with information from the sheet it appears on.
If a title block is used, the size of the sheet pane (area that will be filled with annotation) will be determined by the size of the title block. A title block can be a shape or a text box.
A title block MUST:
Be on the Title Sheet of the SheetSet
Contained within a single rectangle
Lie along one of the edges of the sheet outline
Span from one end of the sheet edge to the other (entire length of sheet)
The Title Block MUST NOT:
Reach the center-line of the sheet that is parallel to the edge that it lies along
