Batch tracking points do not support CUI filters in reports.
Custom unit info can be added using the custom_unit_info table in the database. The data can include things that are not accounted for in the standard defect and repair records or other information such as build option codes.
In order to use the custom information as a report filter carry out the following steps.
Ask a system administrator if you need help to do this.
1. Create a column in the custom_unit_info table in the database. This column will contain the custom information and will be linked directly to the unit id. The name of the column is the name that will appear in Data Collect and as a filter in Reporting.
2. Populate the field as required. This can be done directly in the database or during run-time.
3. In Admin, select Reporting > Classic > Custom Columns.
The columns available in the custom_unit_info table are displayed.
4. Enable the custom information you wish to use.
5. Click Close.
The custom information will now appear as an extra report filter at the bottom of the filter list in Reporting.
