Station groups allow Inspect Reporting to organize stations for reporting purposes. For example, if there are six Inspect stations on a chassis production line and a report user wants to view quality data for all of them, a station group must be created that contains those six stations.
From within Inspect Reporting, the user can easily see whether the selected item is a production area, a station group, or a single production station, as shown in the following image.
● A: Production area
● G: Station group
● S: Production station
The report user could select the Post Repair station group, for example, and see all of the quality data reported in that group. See Reporting for more information.
1. Click Stations > Station Groups > Groups.
2. Click Add.
3. Specify the unique station group name.
4. Click OK.
5. Repeat as needed to add other station groups.
1. Click Stations > Station Groups > Group/Station Relationships.
2. Use the Station Group field to select a station group.
3. Use the stations checkboxes to select the stations you want to assign to the station group.
4. Repeat as necessary to select other station groups and assign stations.
5. Click Close.
