Many control properties are common across all types of controls – for example, all controls have a 'Visible' option. When you use multiple controls within a group, making the same change to all controls individually would be tedious and time-consuming.
Therefore, Layout Manager allows you to change all the common properties in a control group through a single Common Control Properties dialog.
1. Right click on the control group you would like to customize.
2. Click Common Control Properties.
3. Use the checkboxes to select the fields that you would like to change.
4. Click OK – the Common Control Properties dialog appears, displaying the fields you selected.
5. Edit the fields as necessary to make the desired changes.
6. When finished, click OK – the changes are reflected in all the controls in the group.
