Defining Extra Information

 

The operator carrying out the audit can be presented with a list of questions to allow them to enter any additional information that is required.

1.     Select the Audit tab.

2.     Click Extra Info.

A list of the existing extra information questions is displayed. Use the Audit Type drop-down list to view the questions available for a specific audit type.

3.     Click the Add button ().

The Extra Information creation window opens.

4.     Enter a description and a unique code.

5.     Select an Audit Type to associate the Extra Information question with. The

6.     Select a Control Type from the drop-down list. This will determine the type of answer that can be given.

o       Text: User types in the answer.

o       Date: User selects a date.

o       Combo: User selects from multiple-choice answers.

If you selected Text or Date:

7.     Click OK.

The extra information is added to the list.

If you selected Combo:

8.     Select the Values tab

9.     Click the Add button ().

10.  Enter a value.

11.  Click OK.

Repeat until all the answers that will be available to the auditor are added.

12.  Click OK.

The extra information is added to the list.
