Define the Inspection Station

In this section you will identify and configure the Inspect Data Collect station.

Data Collect is used to enter and track quality concerns and repair data. It can be run on a portable device, such as a tablet, or on a stationary PC. Portable devices are useful for roving data collection, whereas stationary workstations are used at fixed data inspection locations. In either case, operators can enter quality concerns for a part (including the type and the severity of concern) and then assign it for repair.

Select the Plants tab.

Click Stations.

A list of the existing stations is displayed.

Select Data Collect from the drop-down list in the right-hand pane.

Click the add icon () below the right-hand pane.

The station creation dialog opens.
