Defect Questions are based on Basic questions which must be created first. See here.
Questions can be associated to defects. When entering a defect in Data Collect, with the specified part/concern combination, the question will be shown to the operator after they have selected the concern.
1. Select the Attribute tab.
2. Click Defect Questions.
All available questions are displayed within a Part/Concern hierarchy. Expand the parts and concerns to see the questions associated to them.
3. Click the add icon ().
The Add Defect Question dialog opens.
4. Select the question that will be assigned to the defect.

The Code, Result Type and Question Type of the question are shown.
5. Select the Part and Concern combination that the question will be assigned to.
6. Enable Disable Defects (optional) to prevent the question from generating any defects if the wrong answer is entered.
7. Click OK.
The part/concern/question is created.
