).Mapping Lists are only used in automatic data collection.
Mapping Lists relate the Mode and State of a machine to the message received from the machine.
A single Mapping List can be used by several machines. Each mapping list normally relates either to a specific type of equipment or to an equipment vendor.
A Mapping List is related to a piece of equipment in the Downtime tab.
1. Select the Equipment & Downtime tab.
2. Click Mapping Lists.
3. Click the add icon ().
4. Enter a Name for the Mapping List.
5. Specify the Mapping Type:
o Use separate tags for mode and state
o Use a combined tag (single value specifies mode and state)
6. Enter a description in all the required languages.
7. Select the Mappings tab.
Every possible combination of Mode and State is displayed.
If a particular combination is required but isn't shown then it must be enabled by modifying the Machine State (see here).
8. Enter the tag values for every Mode and State combination required, or single values if using the Combined Tag option.
9. Click OK.
10. The Mapping List is added.
Existing items can be edited by clicking
