All license parameters can be modified but the most frequent modification is the expiration date. By default, all applications are delivered with a Demo license with a 30 or 90-day expiration. After installation, the Demo license must be converted to a Full license. A Full license does not have a time limit. This is also known as unlocking or activating a license.
When creating license update requests be sure to only apply for things that your company has already paid for otherwise it may draw out the process of having the requests accepted.
1. Open Licensing Server Manager.
2. Click the Update icon.
The Update Licenses screen is displayed.
The following information is shown:
File Details | Filename |
Product name and version
Product feature | |

Current Settings | Expiration date |
Maximum concurrent leases
Maximum named leases | |
Requested settings | Unlock/activate license |

The tick box to the very left will be enabled automatically when a request is selected. If it is disabled the settings will be kept but the file won't be included in an update request.
4. Click Export requests.
If a request is created before the updates of a previous request have been applied then the previous request will be discarded.
5. Select a location and filename for the license request.

The file is saved with a .trg extension.
