What are Question Types?
The main purpose of the question type is as a filter when generating reports. The question type can be any categorization method you want to use: department names, type of inspection being performed (such as a Final Inspection), and so on.
It is not the same as a Question Category which is used by Inspect during the inspection process to decide which questions will be displayed to the operator.
Creating Question Types
Select the Attribute tab.
Click Question Types.
A list of the existing question types is shown.
Click the add button (
).
The question type creation window opens.
Enter a description and code for the question type.
Click OK.
The question type is added to the list.
Importing Question Types
Question types can be imported from a spreadsheet by clicking the Import button (
). The description must be in the first column and the code must be in the second column.
