Details can be used to give more information about the condition of a concern or to give a more precise location of the concern on the part. In this instance we are going to give details about the length of a scratch.
For this tutorial you will require the following details:

Select the Attribute tab.
Click Details.
The detail window opens. The detail folders are listed in the left-hand pane and the details are listed in the right-hand pane.
Click the add button (
) below the right-hand pane.
Enter 1-3mm in the description field. The Code field is automatically populated.
Click OK. The dialog remains open so you can continue adding details easily.
When finished adding details, click Cancel.
