Feature Sets are groups of features which have been labeled and saved. New feature sets are saved in the document’s database. Saving a feature set makes it available for use in any CM4D document, therefore giving it a unique label and optional description is helpful when trying to differentiate between saved feature sets.
To create a feature set, you must first create a feature string. There are two ways to create new feature sets.
1. Double click the view while it is in edit mode.
a. The Feature String dialog box will appear.
b. Click Add, select a Feature from the list and click OK.
c. Click the Save button. The New Feature Set dialog box will appear. Give the new feature set a unique name and description.
2. Right click on the view while it is in edit mode, hover over Feature Set, and select New from the menu.
a. The New Feature Set dialog box will appear.
b. Give the new feature set a unique name and description.
