The DataUtility User Interface is very versatile. Using a built-in feature called Mapping, you can move the various windows anywhere you choose in the user interface. To relocate a window on the user interface click and hold the mouse on the title bar of one of the windows (e.g. Result Options). Then drag the window into the center of the interface (shown in the video below). Blue icons will appear indicating the docking options. The transparent blue rectangle that appears in conjunction with the blue icons represents the final location of the window you are moving. When you have a window into a docking position, the icon will turn a darker blue.
The Data Viewing Options window and the Navigation window can be combined into one tabbed region in the User Interface to maximize your report display region. To do this, use the image maps to drag one of the windows over the other until the tab button appears in the center of the blue icon. When the center icon turns dark blue, drop the window. This will cause the two windows to overlay each other with the window titles appearing on tabs on the bottom region as shown in the video above. To return to individual windows, click, drag, and drop the tab on the highlighted blue icon over the desired position.
To hide the Data Viewing window, click the push pin button located on the title bar the pane. To view the hidden window, hover over the tab and the window will slide out and remain in view until you move the cursor off of the window region. Click the push pin button again to restore the window to the locked position.
