CM4D.ini - [MSA]

The MSA section of the Cm4d.ini file allows you to set the Sample Filters you would like available within the MSA Samples dialog. These Sample filters must be defined in the Database in order for them to be used. See the topic MSA (Measurement System Analysis) for more information on creating MSA samples.

This is any one of your Sample Filters that you choose to designate as the Operator filter.

The values assigned to this Filter will become your options for the menus within the Create MSA Samples dialog in CM4D.

MsaOperatorDefaultA

This is another element (i.e. value) of the Sample Filter you have assigned to be your Operator Filter.

You may have more than two values assigned to that particular filter, but the value defined in this line in the Cm4d.ini file will be the default selection for the "Operator A" menu within the Create Samples dialog in CM4D.

MsaOperatorDefaultB

This is another element (i.e. value) of the Sample Filter you have assigned to be your Operator Filter.

You may have more than two values assigned to that particular filter, but the value defined in this line in the Cm4d.ini file will be the default selection for the "Operator B" menu within the Create Samples dialog in CM4D.

MsaFilter

"FilterM"

 

This is any one of your Sample Filters that you choose to designate as the MSA Filter.

You may define this as "FilterM", for example, or using your defined Filter label.

MsaDefault

This is an element (i.e. value) of the Sample Filter you have assigned to be your MSA Filter.

You may have more than one value assigned to that particular filter, but the value defined in this line in the Cm4d.ini file will be the default selection for the "MSA Filter" menu within the Create Samples dialog in CM4D.

MsaSampleFilter

This is any one of your Sample Filters that you choose to designate as the MSA Sample Filter.

You may define this as "FilterY", for example, or use your defined Filter label.

MsaSampleDefault

This is an element (i.e. value) of the Sample Filter you have assigned to be your MSA Sample Filter.

You may have more than one value assigned to that particular filter, but the value defined in this line in the Cm4d.ini file will be the default selection for the "Sample Filter" menu within the Create Samples dialog in CM4D.

MsaDescriptionDefault

The MSA Description refers to the default text to be entered in the Description field of the Create Samples dialog in CM4D.

You may enter any text you wish. Once the dialog is opened, this field may be modified as needed.

The description will be added to the Description field in the Database for each Sample created using this method.
