Run DataUtility to confirm that the "Data Processed Events" flag is enabled for the Routine you will be using to generate events. If it is not selected, do so before running DataSmith Batch. The other available event flag, End of Subgroup Monitored, may also be used to generate events, but is not commonly used. See the DataUtility Help Documentation for more information on using DataUtility.
If you make any changes in DataUtility, make sure you Commit those changes to the Database before closing DataUtility.
