If you are using a single machine with a combination of implementation types, make sure it has all applicable features/roles. See the topic System Requirements for more information.
The Web Server features must be enabled before running the CM4D Web installer. If these are not enabled, the installation will fail.
Enable the following features manually before running the Web installer:
Select Start > Administrative Tools > Server Manager.
Scroll down to the section Roles Summary.
Click Add Roles.
Click Next.
Select Web Server (IIS) and click Next.
Click Next.
Select Web Server > Application Development > ASP.
Click Add Required Role Services.
Select Web Server > Application Development > ASP.NET.
Click Add Required Role Services.
Select Web Server > Security > Windows Authentication.
Click Next.
Click Install.
When you get the message Installation Successful, click Close.
Close Server Manager.
