CM4D Scheduler now runs as a true Windows service. Prior to this version, Scheduler relied on CM4D Automation, which caused bottlenecks that hindered the performance of the entire process. By eliminating the CM4D Automation, CM4D Scheduler is now capable of handling high volumes of jobs much more effectively without requiring the number of dedicated servers as before.
Yes. The full installation will install all required registry settings and all supporting files needed for the new version of CM4D Scheduler to run properly.
The installation will take care of most of the required setup. However, you can determine who your Service Users will be and who your Job Users will be and setup your services accordingly, or you may simply run Scheduler as you have had it set up prior to this version.
Yes, a Site database is required for running Scheduler.
Scheduler Manager will allow you to run Scheduler Manager and schedule jobs for yourself and other users.
Scheduler Jobs will allow you to be a Job User or Service User.
