The checklist feature is used to display a list of questions to an inspector, relating to the features of the product being inspected. The inspector must answer these questions before the unit can be released.
The steps required to create the questions and answers that go together to create a checklist are defined as follows:
1. Create the answers.
o Boolean
o Static
a. Define prompt for user.
b. Associate to a part and location.
c. Specify a result type (multiple choice, boolean, etc.)
d. Associate a defect.
e. Enable for products, build groups and model years.
f. Associate the possible answers.
g. Specify which answer is correct.
3. Assign the questions to categories.
4. Assign the categories to users.
5. Associate questions to station steps (in Cockpit).
Keep in mind that you also need to create and customize checklist layouts for Data Collect within Layout Manager, defining the presentation of the checklist. Refer to Layout Manager for further information.
