Defining Hourly Rates

 

Often, plant inspectors and repair persons cost manufacturing plants more money depending upon the type of work that they do. For example, a repair person who does light repairs will most likely spend less money than a repair person who performs heavy repairs. In order to help manage the cost of employees, Inspect Admin allows system administrators to create different Job Classifications, and then assign plant employees to their respected classification.

1.     Open Inspect Admin.

2.     Click Configuration > Job Classifications.

3.     Click Add.

4.     Enter a name for the new job classification.

5.     Use the Hourly Rate field to define the labor rate that will correspond to this new classification.

6.     Click OK.

7.     Repeat as necessary to define other job classifications.

Assigning Employees to Job Classifications

After job classifications have been created, employees can be assigned to them using Security Manager.
