Security Manager Overview

The Security Manager application handles everything to do with user rights. This means that it decides who can log into which programs and what they can do once they're in that program. It also allows you to record changes within the database. You can specify any number of tables in the database and whenever a change is made to one of them it'll record what the change is together with who made the change and when it was made.

The main functions are as follows:

Manage Users: Create users and assign them to security groups. You can also specify their logon credentials and primary language.

Manage Security Groups and Rights: Create security groups which contain users who require access to the same applications and functionality. User rights are assigned to each group.

Manage Table Auditing: Specify which database tables need to be monitored.

Print Operator Barcode Labels: Print barcode labels so that the operator can log in using a barcode scanner.
