A Process represents where the part/product came from. For example, it can be the lathe that turned a cylinder. It is often important to know the process since different machines (even of the same type) can have different capabilities and therefore different limits, and so on.
Create Processes
Use the following steps to specify a Process.
Select the Variable tab.
Click Processes.
A list of the existing processes is displayed.
Click the add button (
).
The Process creation window opens.
Enter a description and code for the process.
Click OK.
The Process is added to the list.
Import Processes
Processes can be imported from a spreadsheet by clicking the Import button (
). The description must be in the first column and the code must be in the second column.
