Form Composer Overview

The Form Composer application is a design and layout program for customizing the appearance of screens used at the Inspect data collection stations. The system administrator can create templates, comprised of forms, to control the colors, sizes, fonts and placements of every screen.

Creating Form Composer layouts involves the following main steps:

Step 1 – Choose the type of form you want to create (see Creating a Form).

Step 2 – Add the controls that you want displayed in the form (see Adding Controls).

Step 3 – Save forms in a template (see Saving Forms in a Template).

Step 4 – Assign templates to stations (see Assigning Templates to a Station).
