Material Classes allow materials to be placed into groups where each item is of a similar type. For example they could be grouped as follows:

Material Classes can be added as follows:
Click Material Classes.
A list of the existing Material Classes is displayed.
Click the add icon (
).
Enter a name.
Enter a description in each necessary language.
Click OK.
The Material Class is added to the list.
Existing items can be edited by clicking 
or deleted by clicking
