Settings Editor

The Settings Editor allows you to modify the connection settings for each of the applications and services.

You can also view further details about the services.

Select the tab containing the required application or service.

Double click on the instance to be modified.

Make required changes.

Click Update.

The new settings are saved.

The following settings can be modified.

For the applications:

Setting	Description
Name	The name of the data service to be used
Server	The server on which the data service is located
Binding	Binding type for the data service
Base Port	Base port for the data service

For the services:

Setting	Description
Name	The name of the service to be used
Instance	The instance of the service (default is Primary)
Base Port	Base port for the service
Location	Location of the service configuration file
