Reporting sources are added or created through the New reporting source form blade.

 

To open the New reporting source blade:

 

Click on the ADD SOURCE shortcut link in the Reporting card in ATS Configuration manager home page OR

Click on the ADD SOURCE shortcut link in the Reporting sources card in ATS Reporting home page OR

Click on the Add button in the top right corner above the Reporting sources grid.

 

To define a new reporting source from the New reporting source blade:

 

  1. Provide Name for the reporting source. This name must be unique, it is not allowed to have two or more reporting sources in the system that have the same name.
  2. Select type for the reporting source.
  3. Depending on selected type the form fields change.
  4. Provide values for the mandatory fields depending on selected reporting source. For Web pages type of reporting source its reports and report parameters can also be configured from here.
  5. Provide Description for the reporting source (optional).
  6. Test connection (optional).
  7. Click on the Save button.
  8. The New reporting source blade is closed and an appropriate push notification will appear depending on the outcome.
  9. A successfully created reporting source will appear in the top position of the Reporting sources grid.
