What’s new in ATS Inspect 7.0?

All web services have been migrated from WCF to REST-based services, featuring Open APIs to allow for easier integration and lessen the need for customization.

There are 582 APIs that customers can access with more to come.

Web services can be run in the cloud (Azure, AWS) or on premises (“on-prem”) with support for containerisation.

Swagger UI added to all web services. To learn more about Swagger, see here.

Security has been migrated to use ATS Security. The old Inspect Security Manager application has been retired.

Webhooks have been added to allow information to be pushed to consumers.

Dynamic number of unit identifiers.

What has been improved from ATS Inspect 6.4 SP8 to 7.0?

CAD files can be converted on the fly from any supported format to PRC to allow for faster loading times.

Size limits can be set for raster images & CAD models.

User can now set camera position when creating the preview image for CAD models.

Overview Control – columns were added, and user has more control over column visibility and widths.

Improvements to the Image Management forms.
