Each row in the Reporting Sources grid has a context menu, which can be accessed by clicking on the context menu icon (...). There are two context menu options available: Open and Delete.
Details on the information presented using the Open option are described here.
Reporting sources can be deleted from the Reporting Sources grid:
Select the Delete option from the reporting sources context menu.
Press the Yes button in the confirmation pop-up window.
A notification appears once the delete operation is successfully completed. The deleted source is no longer present in the reporting sources grid.
Only users with the Configure Reporting Sources right can delete reporting sources.
Selecting the Open option from the context menu loads the Reporting Source details blade on the right of the window. The Reporting Source details blade has two tabs:
Properties: The Properties tab displays details for the selected reporting source such as it's name, type, description, endpoint (if applicable), source credentials, etc. In addition, a Check Connection button can be used to test the connection using the specified source credentials or endpoint.
Reports: The Reports tabs displays a read only list of reports present on the reporting source.
The Properties tab is displayed when the Reporting Source details blade is loaded. Two options, Save and Save and close, are disabled until the contents of the fields are modified. The Save option commits the changes made to the source and the user remains on the same blade, while the Save and close saves all entered data and the user is redirected to All Reporting sources blade.
Once modifications are made in the Reporting Source details blade the Reporting Sources grid becomes disabled and grid interactions are no longer possible until changes are saved or the blade is closed.
Navigating to another tab in the blade or closing the blade using the X button without pressing Save will discard any changes.
Only users with the Configure Reporting Sources right can edit reporting sources.
