The following properties can be changed on a unit that has already been entered into the system:
Plant
Product
Build Group
Model Year
Color
Modify unit
Modify units as follows:
Select the Data Entry tab.
Click Unit Correction.
Modify the filters on Filter pane on the left as required.
Click Search.
All the units in the database that match the filter are displayed.
Enable all the units that you want to modify in the Unit Information pane.
Select the values in the New Values pane that you want to modify.
Click the Apply Changes button (
).
Press Yes to confirm the changes on the Confirmation message.
All the selected units are updated with the new values.
Lock unit
To lock a unit:
Select the Data Entry tab.
Click Unit Correction.
Modify the filters on Filter pane on the left as required.
Click Search.
All the units in the database that match the filter are displayed.
Place a tick next to each unit in the Unit Information pane to be locked.
Place a tick in the Lock Unit checkbox.
Click the Apply Changes button ().
Press Yes to confirm the changes on the Confirmation message.
The selected units are highlighted in red and crossed out.
Unlock unit
To unlock a unit:
Select the Data Entry tab.
Click Unit Correction.
Modify the filters on Filter pane on the left as required.
Place a tick in the Only Locked Units checkbox.
Click Search.
All the units in the database that match the filter are displayed.
Enable all the units to be locked.
Place a tick next to each unit in the Unit Information pane to be unlocked.
Click the Apply Changes button ().
Press Yes to confirm the changes on the Confirmation message.
The selected units are unlocked and are no longer displayed on the Unit Information pane.
