Changing Possible Answers for Questions
The answers displayed to an operator in Data Collect can be changed within Cockpit.
Answers will only be modified on units where the question has not yet been answered.
Select the Attribute tab.
Click Questions.
All available questions are displayed in the upper pane. The list of questions can be filtered by Category and Question Type.
Select a Multiple Choice type question and click 
.
A dialog with several tabs opens.
Select the Answers tab.
Within the Answers tab the Static tab displays the answers assigned to the question in the upper pane.
Add and remove answers by enabling them and dragging them between the panes.
If required use the 
and 
buttons to change the order in which the questions will be presented to the operator.
Modify the value assigned to an answer by selecting it and clicking .
When finished click OK.
A dialog opens asking if you want to update answers for existing unit questions that are not answered.
Click Yes.
The question is updated.
Please note that once a question is edited, it will be reflected in Unit Questions once the Data Service Cache has been cleared or the allotted time has passed. This period of time is specified in Cache > ChecklistExspirationInMins in the appsettings.json file for the Data Service. The default location for this file is C:\Program Files\Applied Tech Systems\Inspect\Services\Data Service.
