Managing Batch Sample Sizes

If you are using a Batch Tracking Point you will need to manually tell the system how many units have passed that tracking point so that statistical analysis can be carried out.

Create a Sample Size

In order to create a Sample Size you will require a Plant, Product, Build Group, Model Year, Batch Tracking Point and Shift.

Select the Data Entry tab.

Click Batch Sample Sizes.

Click the add icon () in the bottom-right corner.

The Sample Size creation window opens.

Enter the required details for the Sample Size.

Click OK.

The Sample Size is added to the list.

Modify a Sample Size

It is only possible to modify sample sizes that have been manually created.

Access sample sizes as described above.

Modify the report criteria on the left side and click Filter. The sample sizes that match the criteria are displayed.

Select the required Sample Size.

Click the edit icon ().

Modify the sample size details and click OK.

Copy a Sample Size

Access sample sizes as described above.

Modify the report criteria on the left side and click Filter. The sample sizes that match the criteria are displayed.

Select the required Sample Size.

Click the clone icon ().

Modify the sample size details and click OK.

The new sample size is created.

Delete a Sample Size

Access sample sizes as described above.

Modify the report criteria on the left side and click Filter. The sample sizes that match the criteria are displayed.

Select the required Sample Size.

Click the delete icon ().

The sample size is deleted.
