There are some tasks that must be done by an Administrator before end users can use CM4D Peruse:
Peruse User Interface Options

- Configure Annotation Sets - Defined by assigning Chart annotation templates to specific Feature types.
- Configure Drill Downs - Created by importing Sheet templates exported from CM4D Classic.
- Configure Layouts - Defined by selecting annotation placements around the Peruse 3D Viewer.
- Configure Reports - Defined by assigning an annotation template exported from CM4D Classic.

See the topic Configure Peruse for more information.
For information related to the back end support of 3D models loaded in the CM4D Peruse web viewer, see the topic HOOPS Communicator Server.
Peruse Data Configuration
CM4D Peruse pulls data from the CM4D Results Database. Each CM4D Managed Datasource has its own settings for handling data generation and transfer for the Results database. Check the following options when using Results/Peruse for the first time or when adding a new Managed Datasource to your Site to ensure you have all the required configurations.
- Enable Results - The Results database must be enabled at the Managed DataSource level.
- Configure Results Rules - Sample data requires at least one Results Rule be assigned to be able to generate results for said data.
- Configure Results Exclusions - Specified Routines (by label or filter) from each Managed Datasource are ignored when generating Results data.
- Subgroups - Settings for Subgroups and Stats Rules are set at the Managed Datasource and/or Routine level.
Refer to the topic Site Management - Managed Datasources for more information.
